WHAT TO EXPECT

To get a North Carolina driver license, you must be at least 18 years old and apply in person at a Division of Motor Vehicles office. You must correctly answer at least 20 out of 25 questions on a road knowledge test, pass your oral sign test and pass your vision and driving tests. To apply for a driver license, you must bring documents proving:
